Founded in 1962, the Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society is headquartered in the 1871 Schoolhouse in the Russells Mills Historic District. Our mission is to support, promote, preserve, and disseminate the historic and cultural diversity of Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
We offer educational programs, sponsor community exhibitions and performances, and maintain an ever-growing digital archive accessible to researchers, genealogists, and history enthusiasts worldwide.
